henrik lebuhn, *1974, lives in berlin and san francisco.

i studied political science and public law in hamburg, mexico city, berlin, and berkeley. my main research areas include labor, migration and social-spatial conflicts in global cities, entrepreneurial urban politics, and new urban social movements.

i am a founding member of the berlin based wiener büro-kombinat, a co-editor for prokla, and online-editor for linksnet. i currently work as an assistant professor for urban and regional sociology at hu berlin, and i am also a lecturer at the john-f.-kennedy institute.
